They say that the squeaky wheel always gets the oil, and many of the citizens and voters that elected the liberal-socialist politicians realize that their squeakiness can get them more benefits from the government. Many folks who’ve lost their jobs are not working too hard to get new jobs because they are collecting unemployment benefits.

Unfortunately, if we over simplify such complex situations we are doing a disservice to the reality at hand. During the last presidential election, we noted that one of the candidates told the voters in Ohio that he was against NAFTA, because he said it hurts jobs in America.

Now, some senators are telling the media that many people in their district are calling and asking for extended unemployment benefits. The bleeding heart liberals have chosen to put forth another bill in the Senate, which would help about 2 million unemployed folks for an additional 14-weeks extra since their current benefits will be expiring. Folks in states with 8.5% unemployment, would get yet, another six-weeks additional making it 20-weeks.

I don’t know if the Olympic Committee was trying to embarrass President Obama and the United States by eliminating Chicago but I wouldn’t put it past them.

It probably makes some sense for the Olympic Committee to pick a new location like Rio. Many people, however, fear traveling to Rio anymore because of the crime and danger to travelers. So be it.

I guess my point is that this selection does not surprise me at all. We will often be on the short end because of ill will towards us. As long as we continue to do what we think is the right thing for other people and other nations around the world we will just have to live with it.

Answering what is a warm front depends on knowing cold fronts. Under normal circumstances warm air cannot displace a mass of cold air. Masses of cold air are often called cold fronts and are often denser than warm air. Since the two types of air have different densities and temperatures, they also cannot mix.

As far as getting hot, I think it gets hotter here. I would often classify it as near unbearable. Then we need to talk about the cold here in Aberdeen, my toes just went numb even thinking about it. Out of my 14 winters back in Aberdeen …. well as you know, they have all had snow. Now the Aberdeen winters last from about the last week in October until the early part of May. To make my long story short once again, the weather here is perfect only about .08% of the year.

So why do I love the weather here? Because now, I appreciate it when the good days come. When I lived in Texas, we never stopped what we were doing when it was nice out. We never piled into a convertible or onto a motorcycle, and we would never sneak out of work early, because the weather was perfect.

The people in Texas never take full advantage of the great weather, but we do here. The hustle and bustle in our neighborhood on the good days is amazing. Sometimes it feels like a street party, everyone is outside, everyone is happy and the kids are going crazy. You don’t appreciate that which you have all of the time. So I am thankful for the Aberdeen area weather, because I have learned to take advantage of it when it is good….. and you should too
