Violent unrest has damaged out on the streets of Britain this week (August 2011), however could politicians and the police have used astrology as a instrument to anticipate when such events may happen?

The answer, is a convincing yes. However maybe Britain is more disguise-bound about such things, and even if astrology was used the chance would be that it would be stored very hush, hush.

The eruption that occurred this week was when Mars, the planet of anger and want, was in direct battle with the planet of power, Pluto. When these two planets conflict, violent disorder will not be a surprise. As a result of each planets are about control, when they’re nose to nose, police involvement is common. Furthermore, Uranus, the planet of revolution, is newly housed in the erratic Aries, which makes for an unstable link. This planet squared both Mars and Pluto, forging a Cardinal T Square. Cardinal planets, are about energy and assertion, so this turned a really poisonous mix. An awareness in advance to all of this might have seen the police and authorities higher prepared.

Nevertheless, this is not the case in different countries…For example, the military junta in Burma take astrology very critically and observe one thing often known as Yadaya, which is where plans are made based mostly on damaging astrological influences, which is in fact as darkish because the generals who rule with a rod of iron over the country.
And in India, an astrologer to authorities has held the same status as a cupboard minister for many years.

American politics has also featured astrology. For example, President Theodore Roosevelt’s beginning chart was laid out on a chess board in the Oval Office. History books also omit the truth that Benjamin Franklin chosen the date of Washington’s first inauguration using Elective Astrology.

George Washington, America’s First President, whose metaphysical leanings where within the public area as a result of his supposed angelic imaginative and prescient at Valley Forge, which illuminated America’s future. Certainly, the astrological chart of George Washington reveals a susceptibility to unexpected visions and expanded consciousness, as his Sun in Pisces predisposed him to intuitive and mystical orientation. These abilities had been then structured by his Moon in Capricorn, eminent in lots of political leaders by start or by means of Progressed planets. His Moon placement turned philosophical concepts into kind, along with an earthy Taurus Ascendant, giving sensible formulation to common sciences.

Abraham Lincoln, America’s sixteenth President, additionally held an avid curiosity in astrological sciences. His Natal Sun in the far-sighted Aquarius, initiated the humanitarian resolution to abolish slavery. This Presidential leader also had a philosophical Sagittarius career placement conjunct with the highly effective Saturn and the mystical Neptune, allowing him to spearhead political reforms for the disadvantaged. An altruistic standpoint additional reinforced by a predominance of planets in the sacrificial and psychic Pisces, perhaps also explaining his reluctance to attend the theatre, on the eve of his assassination.

Then after all, there is Ronald Reagan, the fortieth President of the United States, who for a few years had a resident astrologer advising him and his wife Nancy, after he survived an assassination attempt in 1981. Reagan’s Solar signal was once more in Aquarius, whilst a Taurus Moon and a multitude of Capricorn planets, as soon as again display an uncanny hyperlink and curiosity in astrology.

As for the disbelievers, a quote from Herbert Spencer states “There is no bar to information better than contempt, prior to examination”. Right here, right here! Perhaps the present chaotic scenes in Britain would profit from some divine celestial intervention.

Without doubt, the United States of America is the worlds first successful democracy. At least, that’s the perception. The forefathers that laid the foundation of this great nation were visionaries, they created a system that kept powers in check and enabled the empowerment of the individual – the most essential component of a democratic society. Their vision and their genius is what made the United States that it is today. To account for changes they designed the constitution to be flexible enough to incorporate changes without conflicts. However, this very flexibility is being exploited by groups and individuals to further their own interest and thereby creating a system that suppresses individual freedom.

The forefathers mandated the existence of only two political parties. Ensuring a conflict of opinions and ideas but not a conflict of interest. The democrats have a liberal take on their policies while the republicans have conservative views. This fundamental difference in ideologies ensures that the congress gets to see both sides of the coin before any decisions are made.

The democrats, for example, oppose military spending whereas the republicans support it. The liberal policy is to divert funds from military spending to other development projects. Yes, the conservative view of the republicans has its place. They help keep the nation on track and faithful to its roots.

In contrast the liberal policies helps the nation evolve. This contrast in function and ideology helps ensure that a constant balance is maintained at all times. Some conservative policies are logically sound while the liberal policies seem more like short term work arounds. The republicans, with their conservative views aim to ensure that the system remains stable. However, this is not to say that the liberal drive for progress and experimentation is not essential.

The republicans are pro-business and are in strong favor of capitalism. On the other hand, the democrats are pushing for increased taxes on the rich while the republicans support the reduction in taxes for all. As many conservative blog posts state, some of the liberal policies that have been introduced in the past few years are geared towards bypassing the system of checks and balances. Unchecked power to the government, in the name of security, is a threat to the entire nation. It is a threat to everything that the forefathers stood for.

John Andrew Boehner was born on the 17th day of November 17 in 1949. Boehner is the 61st Speaker of the United States House of Representatives. A member of the Republican Party, Boehner is the U.S. Representative from Ohio’s 8th congressional balloting district, serving since 1991. The 8th congressional district includes several rural and suburban areas near Cincinnati and Dayton, and a small portion of Dayton itself.

Boehner previously served as the House Minority Leader from 2007 until 2011, and House Majority Leader from 2006 until 2007. As Speaker of the House, Boehner is next in the chain of command, you could say, for the position of United States President, following the Vice President.

Various Fresh Air books have documented Boehner as having been born in Reading, Ohio, the son of Mary Anne and Earl Henry Boehner, the second of 12 children in a family of German and Irish descent. Boehner grew up in sort paltry circumstances, having shared one bath with his 11 siblings in a 2-bedroom house in City of Cincinnati. His parents slept on a pull-out couch. Boehner started earning a wage at his family’s bar at the tender age of 8, a commercial station founded by their grandfather Andy Boehner in 1938. Several Fresh Air books note that Boehner has lived in Southwest Ohio his entire life. All but two of his siblings still live within a few miles of each other; two are unemployed and most of the others have blue-collar jobs.

Boehner attended Cincinnati’s Moeller High School and was a linebacker on the school’s football team, where he was coached by future Notre Dame coach Gerry Faust. Graduating from Moeller in 1968, when U.S. participation in the Vietnam War was at its highest, Boehner was recruited into the United States Navy but was honorably discharged after eight weeks because of a bad back. Boehner earned his B.A. in business administration from Xavier University in 1977, becoming the first person in his family to attend college, taking 7 years to graduate, as he held several jobs to pay for his education.

Shortly after his graduation in 1977, as described by these Fresh Air books, Boehner accepted a position with Nucite Sales, a small sales business in the packaging and plastics industry. Boehner climbed the corporate ladder, so to speak, and eventually became president of the company, resigning in 1990 when he was elected to Congress.

Perhaps U.S. President Barack Obama is actually doing something right. It is hard to believe, but his poll numbers are up, so there are those in the Republican Party that are wary of his political maneuverings as of late. He has come to the center in an obvious way, and he seems to be wheeling and dealing like the best of them, in Washington. There are a number of very good Pulitzer Prize history books that go over such U.S. Presidents that have come to center, mid-swing, through their presidency. One contemporary president, Bill Clinton did just that, after a very similar reshuffling of The House of Representatives, not completely unlike John Boehner’s winning the speaker’s seat last year.

As far as anybody can tell, however, Barack Obama does have a very hard time communicating. He is a champion campaigner, but messaging just is not the same as campaigning for office. There is a different tact that you have to take to the people, once you are in office. Several Pulitzer Prize nonfiction books chronicle such things in past presidents, and even in the current U.S. President, Barack Obama. Amongst those books are stories and very detailed chronicles of the inner workings of such things at the very top: the White House, the top committees in the Senate, and several high-ranking officials in the Intelligence and Military sectors of government. Obama’s latest poll numbers are fine and welcomed to Democrats that wish to retain and hold onto power come next election, but it’s not to say this is going to be a wash, as some feel his first election to the U.S. presidency had been. There is much left to do, and the GOP will not cede power, without a fight. Perhaps the Democrats really have learned something since the midterm elections.

You read a lot good nonfiction books about this idea of people being on the “left” of things, politically. Where does that idea come from, and what is that idea exactly? It is thrown around so often these days that it is somewhat hard to keep track of what exactly is going on with the concept. Various well written, nonfiction bestsellers, and indeed the consensus is that the left–right political framework is, a useful way of clumping together political positions, ideologies, or parties along a one-dimensional political spectrum. But that’s the problem. When you clump together things, whether those things are ideas, people, CDs in a music store, whatever, what happens? You end up coming up with, for instance, bands that can fall into two or more genres. That is not enough scratching the surface of how problematic this can get. Therefore, when you say that a particular member of the U.S. Congress is a Republican, and to label this person as somebody that is a part of “the Right Establishment,” would be making a gross assumption and simplistic assertion about the person. (It is the same reason racism is just flat out wrong.)

This perspective of “left and right”—that’s often played out in the best nonfiction books out there—is technically a dialectical interpretation of complex questions. That is to say that so called left-wing politics and right-wing politics are often presented as polar opposites, and although a particular, individual or party may take a left-wing stance on one matter and a right-wing stance on another, the terms left and right are most often used to describe two globally opposed political points of view.

The terms and framework is a bit of a floating body, as a lot of semantics are. The term actually originated in France, where the Left still implies the political party of “movement,” and the Right implies the party of “order.” By the French example, you can get an idea of how this is a useful way to describe opposing ideas.

In the United States, the Left has traditionally included social liberals and progressives; these are ideas that are most often aligned and associated with the Democratic Party in that country. Meanwhile, the Right is aligned most often with conservatism, fiscal restrained (again, supposedly), reactionary capitalists and the like.

After being advised absolutely no for the last two centuries, the House of Representatives now have okayed a bill that will make it possible for a House of Representatives position to get made for the citizens of the District of Columbia. This may be a total shock for some, who examine the situation and state that technically the actual District of Columbia is not really a state and possesses simply no right to a representation within the House.

Together with Utah which has been granted a fourth seat, the actual bill regarding District of Columbia enabling it to have a seat within the House was given for finalized endorsement. Many have perceived how the bill for District of Columbia would not end up being approved because two centuries ago it was prohibited from possessing a seat in the actual House since it is not a state.

The state of Utah ended up being refused an additional seat in the House after falling shy of the needed citizens to secure a fourth seat after the previous census. Even so, since they are in the process of adding additional seats and also Utah is really very close to the prerequisites it is predicted that by the next political election they should possess the needed volume of people to warrant a further seat.

This can be a major landmark in the House of Representatives, which has remained at 435 seats ever since 1960; it has been more than 45 years since additional seats have been added onto the House. Adversaries of the new bill have all been swift to indicate that although it can be wonderful how the House is aiming to develop, the Constitution obviously says how the members of the House are chosen by the people in the states which, considering that the District of Columbia isn’t a state, leads to a major snafu within the programs of the Democratic majority House.

Even after the 2010 population tally, it was lined up for the actual House to maintain the 437 seats. And then Utah was lined up to be expanded to a new 4th district. The passing of the District of Columbia bill was already reviewed in 1978 however ended up being disapproved because it was not able to successfully pass a quorum of three-fourth majority of the states. So this matter was talked over inside the actual House of Representatives before.

Once again, the measure seemed to be attempted in 1993; however, this specific attempt was focused around switching the actual District of Columbia towards statehood and also transforming the District to a full-fledged state of this United States. This proposal was also turned down, making this a significant victory that has been attempted several times previously. Whether it will go through the Senate, and ultimately receive lawful consequence, is still still left to get decided.

The District of Columbia argues that it should be authorized to have a seat within the actual House of Representatives mainly because just like other states, these people pay taxes as well as fight wars for the actual U.S. So, the controversy and battle goes on. It’s gonna be intriguing to find out if the actual District will indeed be granted what they wanted for nearly 100’s of years.

Green. What is it? It at one point was a color, but nowadays The Green Movement is really a monumental environmental revolution. The green movement in the USA has an extensive history that dates back to the eighteen-thirties and eighteen-forties when intellectuals of the era started publicly denouncing the damaging environmental effects brought on by the actions of institutions, the business world along with humanity as a whole. Considering the arrival of the industrial revolution and perpetually growing proof of a serious problem at hand, the green movement began increasing in popularity.

After WW 2, a broader knowledge of environmentalism started to grow inside the collective consciousness of the populace. Considered one of the primary reasons was the population explosion which was happening on the planet. Popular researchers started to distribute works that drew attention to increasing stress on the world’s natural resources as a result of human activities. Through the 1950’s, sixties as well as seventies, disasters like greatly publicized huge oil spills in England and Santa Barbara, people from Japan were exposed to radioactive substances resulting from irresponsible tests of the H-Bomb, nuclear proliferation as a whole, photos of earth from space, and new government agencies designed to safeguard the ecosystem critically enlarged community awareness.

In the present day, public consciousness of the green movement has soared to an all time high. The growth of social media has augmented communications as well as the exchange of knowledge and ideas like never before in history. Climate Change has taken center stage and motion pictures including Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth have helped cement this issue in our social consciousness. Even now, as the earth approaches a population of seven billion human beings, many of the world’s most brilliant scientists are forewarning that if considerably more is not done, the human race itself faces extinction.

Professor Peter Barrett, a respected New Zealand researcher recently acknowledged “After 40 years, I’m part of a huge community of scientists who have become alarmed with our discovery, that we know from our knowledge of the ancient past, that if we continue our present growth path, we are facing extinction,” Barrett said. “Not in millions of years, or even millennia, but by the end of this century.” The reasons for Barrett’s claims are based on the research of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, an organization of a thousand scientists from a hundred nations and can be viewed at http://dc.indymedia.org/newswire/display/114245/index.php .

It is no fun to hear this kind of news. However it’s becoming apparent most of us necessitate a greater sense of urgency. Therefore what can you do to go green? Everything begins with individual habits. Recycle anything you can. Buy organic. Acquire an electrical car or hybrid car or sell your car and develop a simple lifestyle. Make use of green shopping bags, in lieu of disposable plastic or paper shopping bags. Decide to just get into business with companies who are truly making an effort to go green and diminish their carbon footsteps. Within a capitalist market, how you decide to expend your dollars is as important as voting on election day. Forfeiting a payment to a business, is similar to saying I approve of your practices. Establish a blog and educate and motivate your community via your writing and convey them concerning what you’re working on in your personal days to go green. Be a pioneer for the green movement. Be a part of history.

2012 Presidential Candidates

It’s scary to me that polling shows the GOP possibly winning majorities in the House & Senate midterm elections. I don’t understand how people could be so forgetful. Don’t they remember the mess that George W. Bush left us with in January of 2009?

And it’s not just that the Republican President Bush left us a huge mess, it’s that the Republican Party has made a political decision to stand in the way of everything President Obama and the Democratic members of congress have attempted to do in order to clean up the huge mess.

The GOP has put their own political fortunes in front of the good of the United States over and over again over the last two years. They have continually obstructed all positive movement while also spreading lie after lie about the positive things that President Obama is doing to improve this country. And now people want to reward them for it? It’s unbelievable!

When will folks turn off the nonsense of the Fox News propaganda network and start taking a closer look at what the GOP wants for the future of the US.

I would like to write that it’s just a return to the policies of Bush because that would obviously be bad enough. But it is actually far worse than that. By the standards of the Republican Tea Party of 2010, President is a “socialist.”

The GOP agenda for 2011 when they hope to control the House and the Senate include the following five things:

1. Privatize Social Security. Imagine what would have happened to Social Security during the Bush economic crash of September 2008?

2. Destroy Medicare. Their proposed cuts to Medicare would gut this extremely popular health care program.

3. Extend the Bush tax cuts for millionaires that helped destroy the economy.

4. Repeal the Constitution’s 17th amendment. Yes, for some insane reason they think that the people of the US shouldn’t have a right to vote for their own Senators, instead party politicians should get to choose them.

5. Begin trumped up “investigations” into the Obama administration. I am not even joking, they have already said they plan on doing this as soon as they get the majority. What makes this most ridiculous is that the Democrats never investigated any of the real crimes of President Bush, but the Republicans are threatening to investigate the made up crimes of President Obama.

It’s because of this frightening agenda that I strongly support every Democratic candidate running for congress in 2010. Whether it be Congressman Boucher in VA-09 or any other Democratic Congressman or Senator running against the Tea Party Republicans.  It’s not that the Democrats are perfect; far from it. It’s that the Republican Party in the Tea Party era is dangerous to the future of the US. We’re in too precarious a spot to let these folks get any kind of real power.

Possibly the most disturbing thing about a possible Republican win this year is that it would give Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney, and the rest of the Potential 2012 GOP Presidential Candidates momentum.

How did things ever go this far?

Is this a case  of religious intolerance, expedience or something far more

rosary beads They are prayer beads carried by many catholics. Rightly or wrongly, they are also worn by some as a fashion accessory.

This is a story of freedom, not just one with religious overtones

Here is what happened, just keeping to facts

A  federal court ordered reinstatement of a seventh grade pupil ,  Raymond Hosier who was suspended for wearing the Catholic prayer beads last month .

He wears  these prayer beads  in as a memory of his brother , who died clutching this rosary at a car acceident

The federal jjudge ordered reinstatement at a hearing regarding his civil rights

What is worrying is the reason given by the school.

The worrying thing is that district officials contend Hosier violated a policy banning them because they are worn as gang symbols

The American Center for Law and Justice to file a lawsuit on Tuesday in U.S. District Court arguing that Raymond’s suspension violated his rights to free religion.

The matter is even more fundamental

This is the essence of the problem

In this instance the fact that a gang chooses to wear a garment or symbol was cause for a school and district officials to deny the right of the law abiding public to do the same.

To those who treasure their freedom, that must be alarming

Let us hope the court upholds Hosier’s rights at the full hearing.

It is a far bigger issue than rosary beads or religious tolerance. It is about freedom and the rights of the majority. It is about not allowing a minority to destroy the rights we all expect in a democracy. How can the school and district officials have not seen the thin end of this wedge?

homes for sale In the workplace power is not only part of the game; in many ways it is the game. Thriving in the workplace, then, is often about discovering who has the power and then using that knowledge wisely, learning not to fight the powerful–unless you have the clout to defeat them and find it necessary to do so.

In other words, your objective in relationship to power should be to find where it resides and then to live there in concert with it. The productive idea is to work with power: to flow with it as it comes, or sidestep it in graceful avoidance when you see it gathering focus against you. The alternative, fighting with others or holding contentions and complaints against those in power, serves only to retard your progress.

juegos During his decades of public service, he rose through the ranks from deputy county attorney in Nassau County to a district court judge from 1959 to 1973. It was a successful and illustrious career that almost didn’t get off the ground; primarily because by his own admission that, “he was never told how the political game was played.”   Donovan’s problems began when he stood for reelection to a third term as a district court judge. Given that he had received the endorsement of the Republican, Democratic, and Conservative parties his reelection seemed virtually assured. But there was one small problem.

trabajo Once you welcome its return, or better said, your return to it, it will allow you to question your anxieties and brush aside your convictions of personal frailty. As you become free of such debilitating barriers to certainty, you will begin to see yourself in a more kindly light and wonder how you ever let the darkness of doubt have its way with you for so long.

Margiotti’s response to Donovan’s act of disobedience was quick and brutal. First he had him stricken from the Republican ticket and then he set out to remove him from office with the declaration, “it is Donovan, his family, and friends against the organization.”  What ensued next, was a tough and bloody battle that Donovan won against insurmountable odds, primarily because of his dogged determination, an in depth knowledge of how the judicial system works, and a well organized network of loyal friends and colleagues.

Even if you agree with each other in your discussions and are on the same wave length, this can still spell a recipe for disaster. You may well be overheard or understood by a different variety of other characters. Which could ultimately end your career promptly.

Political and religion chit chatter are not really classed as discussions, because people do not want to talk they just want to constantly put there views across. A lot of these so called discussions always end badly. It will result in a lot of hard feelings even after the conversation has ended. You can be published without charge.
