



As part of a plea deal negotiated with prosecutors, Senior U.S. District Court Judge Jack Camp Jr. has pleaded at fault to substance abuse charges. Among other things, Judge Jack Camp admitted that he gave prostitute Ramos money for drugs. The judge has admitted guilt to three charges. Various counts of drug possession and firearm possession were what previous Federal District Court Judge, Jack Camp Jr., had been charge with. He pleaded guilty to three charges. He retired from the judiciary first though. The judge had been 67 years old and gave Ramos access to his government laptop, aided and abetted a felon’s possession of cocaine and possessed illegal drugs. The judge had been arrested on Oct. 1 and can be sentenced on March 4. As a Vietnam Veteran, Ronald Reagan appointed him. In 1987 this happened.
Why Sherry Ann Ramos and Jack Camp Jr. were together
The exotic dancer and prostitute Ramos is the center of many of the charges brought against Jack Camp. While in an Atlanta strip club, a lap dance and phone number were given to Judge Camp from Ramos. Ramos met with Judge Jack Camp for the next few months. He paid her for sex during that time. The couple also used cocaine, marijuana and roxicodone together on a regular basis. The Judge said he was renting an apartment to Ramos in order to get her criminal record.
Sherry Ann Ramos as an informant
Sometime during their relationship, Sherry Ann Ramos began working as a confidential informant to the FBI. Ramos is named as “CI-1” in all the court documents in the case against Judge Camp Jr. The Judge was only caught with her help. It was still hard to arrest and prosecute Judge Camp, even with Sherry Ann Ramos’ information. Many judges had to recuse themselves from the hearings because of personal relationships with Judge Camp. Judge Jack Camp went via a friend to release a statement. It said, “holds himself accountable for his personal actions and will strive to better understand and overcome the causes of his poor judgment.”
