Church growth is a sign of a healthy well-balanced church. A big portion of a church’s budget can be easily spent on trying to reach those in the local community with the Good News of our lord and savior Jesus Christ.

I will never forget the time, years ago, when I was looking for a new church home for my young and growing family. During the process, I visited quite a few churches in the community. One Sunday I visited a church that initially looked wonderful. The church had a nice cheerful sign out front, modest landscaping and a facility that appeared to be well maintained. I attended the service and really enjoyed the sermon. The people were friendly; I thought I might have found the church I was looking for.

The history of Hinduism is so ancient, that there exists no record of its origin. In some contexts, scholars believe that Hinduism existed even before humans learned to live in a civilized society. Historically, Hinduism can be traced back to Vedic roots of ancient Indian civilization, with no single founder as such. Many traditions and cultures embedded into this religion, to give shape to the modern day religion with such a mass following.

Many aspects enter into the mix as church leaders plan on how best to meet the spiritual needs of those in the community. Sadly, there are times when one of the most important areas of the church are over looked, that area being the children’s ministry departments.

Ramayana and Mahabharata are the grand epics which forms the base of this religion. Every member of the Hindu household remembers these epics by heart, and the values of these are deep inside the core of a true Hindu. And, last but not the least; the Bhagvata Geeta is the scripture, which truly defines the actual essence of Hinduism. It is said that Krishna, a Hindu God, himself narrated Geeta for the benefit of all Hindus.

The dictionary defines the word value in the following way: the quality of objects and things which give objects worth. To reach the importance or significance of something. Qualities of the soul of a man. Habits and dispositions of the soul of a person whose actions conform to a superior law.
